Worship

The main focus of our worship time is the Sunday morning Communion service which we celebrate weekly. This is a time of thanksgiving, praise, worship, and remembrance focusing on the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This service consists of Spirit led spontaneous singing, praying, and Bible teaching related to the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The climax of this meeting is when believers partake of the bread and wine as a memorial of Christ's death for us and as he commanded us to do.

And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it, and gave it to them, saying,"This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying,"This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood." Luke 22:19,20 (NASB)

Music forms a significant part of our worship. We seek to use a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary music as appropriate. Usually the singing at the Communion service is without instrumental accompaniment. At other times accompaniment is with piano, organ or guitar.
